The building was designed by Wimberly Allison Tong and Goo (WATG). The design of the hotel aims to incorporate traditional Arabian elements such as the grand dome and 114 smaller domes spread over the building. The colour of the building aims to reflect different shades of sands found in the Arabian Desert. Construction started in December 2001 and the hotel opened its gates in February 2005.

Lots of bikes to choose from in all sizes.

A must for everyone who is visiting UAE. A memory to share with your family and friends back home. This tour departs in the afternoon across the desert of Abu Dhabi with several photo-stops during an exciting dune drive.
You can watch the beautiful sunset before reaching the campsite where you have the opportunity to do a camel ride, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hand or feet.
