Places to Visit in Abu Dhabi

Emirates Palace

The building was designed by Wimberly Allison Tong and Goo (WATG). The design of the hotel aims to incorporate traditional Arabian elements such as the grand dome and 114 smaller domes spread over the building. The colour of the building aims to reflect different shades of sands found in the Arabian Desert. Construction started in December 2001 and the hotel opened its gates in February 2005.

Etihad Towers

On the 74th floor of Tower 2 at the Etihad Towers complex, the Observation Deck at 300 offers unbeatable views of Abu Dhabi’s cityscape and surrounding islands. What’s more, guests visiting the capital’s highest vantage point - the ‘300’ stands for ‘metres in the air’.

Ferrari World

Ferrari World is an amusement park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is the first Ferrari-branded theme park and has the record for the largest space frame structure ever built. Formula Rossa, the world's fastest roller coaster, is also located here.

Yas Waterworld

Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, the only Emirati-themed waterpark in the world, is inspired by the UAE’s rich heritage of pearl diving through its unique story of ‘The Legend of the Lost Pearl’. The UAE’s first mega waterpark is home to 45 exhilarating rides, slides and attractions – five of which can be found nowhere else in the world.

Tuesday Night Free Cycling at Yas Marina Circuit

What more could you ask for than the chance to cycle around the entire length of the Abu Dhabi F1 circuit for free on a Tuesday night. Would recommend registering online first to cut down queuing time. All you need to do is queue up for a free bike rental and helmet, took about 20 mins in total. Lots of bikes to choose from in all sizes.

Mushrif Central Park

Nestled in the heart of the city on 15th Street between Airport Road and Karamah Street, Umm Al Emarat Park is one of the largest and oldest parks in Abu Dhabi.
Originally named just Mushrif Park and built in 1982 as a park for ladies and children, the newly renamed Umm Al Emarat Park has recently reopened after extensive renovation. The new park features a variety of facilities including a Shade House, Animal Barn, Amphitheatre, Great Lawn, Botanic Garden, Children’s Garden and Evening Garden.

Desert Safari Tour

A must for everyone who is visiting UAE. A memory to share with your family and friends back home. This tour departs in the afternoon across the desert of Abu Dhabi with several photo-stops during an exciting dune drive.

You can watch the beautiful sunset before reaching the campsite where you have the opportunity to do a camel ride, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hand or feet. After working up an appetite enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe). Before returning to Abu Dhabi watch belly dancer performing the show around the campfire by starlight.

Abu Dhabi Corniche

The Corniche Road spreads across an impressive eight kilometres of manicured waterfront that includes children’s play areas, separate cycle and pedestrian pathways, cafés and restaurants, and the Corniche Beach - a lifeguarded beach park.
Abu Dhabi’s pristine Corniche beachfront has been awarded coveted Blue Flag status - the internationally renowned eco-label for beaches and marinas that guarantees clean and safe bathing water.
